Rossmoor Woman’s Club’s Ninth Annual Outdoor Living & Garden Tour will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 18.
Tickets are $10 per person. Seven gardens will be featured in the club’s Outdoor Store with a variety of vendors presenting plants, jewelry, yard art, gourmet foods and more.
The Garden Tour is a self-guided event. Guestsmay visit the gardens in any order. Proceeds will benefit local Rossmoor Woman’s Club charities.
The following are descriptions of the homes on the tour:
Home #1: “Mediterranean Sunset”
John and Alyson Zahn
The emphasis of this garden is the drought resistant plants maintaining the look of elegant Mediterranean. The fabulous outdoor kitchen and pool invites entertaining galore.
Home #2: “Art in the Garden’
Harold and Ethel Seal
This garden features colorful landscape with annuals and drought resistant plants. It includes fabulous bronze statues that add a playful touch.
Home #3: “Staycation Resort”
Dan and Marla Welsh
This spa resort invites you to relax at home. It has a beautiful pool with a waterfall, outdoor kitchen, sauna, and cabana.
Home #4: “California Living”
Robert and Noreen Curry
This family oriented outdoor living area, under a covered patio, brings the inside out and is complete with an outdoor kitchen and fireplace.
Home #5: “Italian Renaissance”
Susie Good
The unusual brick and grass driveway sets the tone for this delightful garden of color. Step back in time to a romantic Italian getaway featuring mirrors embedded into the garden walls. The garden also includes an outdoor wood fire pizza oven.
Home #6: “Kensington Garden Spa”
Brian and Elizabeth Tomasin
Enjoy this creatively planned pool/spa with an outdoor shower. The unique tile on the pool resembles fish scales that reflect their color in the sunlight.
Home #7: “Garden Trio”
Steve and Loretta Collins
This corner home with a white picket fence draws you in with a variety of colorful flowers. Fruit trees add to the beauty of the garden while the fireplace and pool offer a place for entertaining and relaxing.
