Stephen Kolstad was 19 years old when he enlisted in the US Army. He served from 1971 to 1974 as a crew chief in the 101st Airborne Division and his rank was SP4, during the Vietnam War.
Stephen is now a captain with the Los Angeles County Fire Department, where he has served the community for the last 40 years.
