The Seal Beach Sun has added a new sales representative to its team, Steven Remery, group publisher for OCNN announced.
Christi Sterbens joined the Sun Newspapers this week and will handle the Long Beach territory for the company. Sterbens graduated from Pepperdine University with a bachelor’s in advertising/marketing. She has worked in sales and marketing for business service-related industries.
“We are excited to have Christi join our family. Christi’s background in sales and marketing is a perfect fit for our organization and a great asset to existing and new customers,” Remery said.
Originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, Sterbens recently moved to Seal Beach. She likes to hike, bike ride and do other outdoor activities and has a chihuahua named Lulu. This will be Sterbens’ first experience in newspaper sales, but she said she looks forward to the challenges and rewards of working and living in Seal Beach.
“I’m excited to become involved in the local community,” Sterbens said.
