On Saturday, March 17, the Seal Beach Animal Care Center will mark St. “Catrick’s” Day with a $5 cat adoption event. For that fee, you can adopt a cat that is already spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, treated for fleas and worms, current on vaccinations and tested for FeLV and FIV. You also get a free Vet visit.
“We have so many cats coming to us because people have lost their jobs and homes,” said Gail Bowers, an Animal Care Center board member. “Since we are a no-kill shelter, the only way to reduce our population is to get these great cats adopted to new homes.”
The Seal Beach Animal Care Center will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 17. The center is located at 1700 Adolfo Lopez Dr.
