St. Hedwig School’s Varsity Flag Football team capped off an outstanding season with downing St. John Episcopal in the Championship playoff game to win another Parochial Athletic League title. The PAL includes over 40 parochial schools in Orange County. The 7th-8th grade team went undefeated in season to claim first place in the Coastal League. They also won the Vince Lombardi Tournament, the St. Hedwig Tournament and the St. Paul tournament, finishing with an overall record of 25-2.
Coach Mario said: “They played like brothers, full of heart and dedication, always picking each other up.”
