The Seal Beach Police Department arrested two drunk drivers, issued five citations and towed 15 cars during the Thanksgiving weekend traffic checkpoint.
“Not bad,” said Capt. Tim Olson, second in command of the SBPD.
The DUI/Drivers License checkpoint was held from 8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 26, to 3 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 27 on Pacific Coast Highway between 12th Street and Main Street. A grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety funded the checkpoint.
