Seal Beach Rough Water Swim set for this weekend

The 44th annual Seal Beach Rough Water Swim, an event hosted by the Seal Beach Swim Club, will be held 7 a.m., Saturday, June 22, on the north side of the Seal Beach Pier. The competition is sanctioned by USA Swimming and USA Masters Swimming. Entry forms are still available at the following websites:

Last year, Brendan Casey won the 3-mile men’s swimming event.

The competition also featured a mile competition as well as a 200-yard event that featured kids as young as age 7.
