Seal Beach rocked (Around the Christmas Tree) Friday night, Dec. 1, with an estimated 11,000 spectators watching more than 2,400 people and 83 entries in the 45th Annual Seal Beach Christmas Parade. The parade was dedicated to the memory of Robin Fort-Linke, who led the SBTV-3 team filming the parade for more than 25 years.

Eleven judges were stationed throughout the parade and selected these entries as best-of-the-best. They will be recognized on Dec. 9 at Breakfast with Santa:

• Best-of-Parade: Jennifer Corday Rocks Around the Christmas Tree #32

• Most Entertaining: Impact Dance Center #36

• Crowd Pleaser: Seal Beach Girl Scouts #28

• Most Festive: Mini Madness Miniature Therapy Horses #39

• Most Humorous: Helen Sanders Cat Paws #55.

In a written statement, the Lions Club thanked the Seal Beach Public Works, The Recreation Department and the Police Department for their assistance in making this a safe and fun event. The Lions also thanked SBTV-3, the many sponsors who made the parade possible, and of course the 180+ volunteers.

The Seal Beach Lions Club looks forward to seeing the community back for the 46th annual Seal Beach Christmas Parade on Friday, Dec. 6, 2024.
