Seal Beach roadway re-surfacing to start in late June

The city of Seal Beach recently announced the launch of the arterial and local resurfacing project.

Work is expected to start in late June

Traffic control will be in place for the duration of the project, however, no residential roads will be closed to local traffic.

Additionally, street sweeping and trash pick-up will remain on schedule.

On May 14, the City Council awarded a construction contract to Hardy & Harper, Inc. The project consists of removing and replacing various locations of damaged curb and gutter, sidewalk, curb ramps, installing pavers and resurfacing the asphalt roadway.

The streets to be resurfaced are the following: Bolsa Ave. from Seal Beach Blvd. to Balboa Dr. and then Balboa Dr. from Bolsa Ave. to Pacific Coast Highway. Landing Ave. from Seal Beach Blvd. to 12th St.
