The City Council unanimously approved an amendment to the city’s contract with Dixon Resources Unlimited for parking support service.
The contract between Seal Beach and Dixon Resources would be extended from June 20, 2024 to June 14, 2027, according to the staff report by Seal Beach Police Support Services Capt. Nick Nicholas.
The amendment would pay the parking consultant a maximum of $135,000 for the extended term and a maximum of $295,650 for the combined six years of the original and extended term of the contract, according to the report.
This item was originally on the Consent Calendar. The council approves consent items collectively, without discussion, unless specific items are pulled for individual consideration. However, this item was pulled for further discussion before the council voted.
