Patrick Gallegos joined the city of Seal Beach on Monday, Feb. 27. In the summer of 2011 several executive positions were consolidated and this new position was created to provide general administrative assistance in the city manager’s office.
The city held an open recruitment for this position, which was extremely competitive with nearly 100 applicants. Gallegos comes to Seal Beach with six years of local government experience working for the city manager’s offices in Anaheim and most recently Diamond Bar.
He holds a master’s degree in public policy and administration from California State University, Long Beach. Gallegos currently lives in Orange County and enjoys spending time dog surfing with his trusted dog Daisy and rooting for the Anaheim Angels.
