The city government of Seal Beach will be closed for the holidays beginning Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, and will reopen on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013.
Emergency City services such as Police Department and Marine Safety will be unaffected by the closure, and city maintenance crews will be on standby in case of emergencies.
No street sweeping will be performed Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012 or Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013.
Normal street sweeping operations will resume Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013. Trash collection will be delayed by one day throughout the holidays.
The Building Department will be available for inspections during the holiday closure on Wednesday, Dec. 26, through Friday, Dec. 28.
