Seal Beach Animal Care Center Baking Coordinator Laura Hendrickson and her 21 volunteers spent close to 50 hours this week baking brownies, cookies, dog biscuits and other treats to prepare for the Lions annual Arts & Crafts Faire.
More than $4,000 was raised to feed, house and care for the Shelter’s dogs and cats. “it is so nice to be able to connect with our past adopters, who come with their adopted dogs year after year, and let us know how they are doing,” Hendrickson said.
