The Seal Beach Animal Care Center Holiday Boutique and Bake Sale on Saturday, Dec. 9 drew a steady stream of visitors throughout the day.

The event raised more than $10,000.

“This year, that money will go in support of a much needed refurbishing of our dog kennels and new shelving for our cat and kitten building,” wrote Christina Miller, an SBACC board member.

A prior adopter bought $500 worth of raffle tickets, won the $500 VISA card, and then donated it back to the Animal Care Center.

Overall, the center brought in more than $10,000 from the event and promotions leading up to it.

Organizers thanked everyone who came out and took photos with Santa, shopped, and donated to support the SBACC.
