The city of Seal Beach has commenced removal of the annual winter sand berm.
The work, which began March 19, is expected to take two weeks to complete.
Post Earthworks Constructors will remove the winter sand berm and stage its equipment in the 10th Street beach parking lot.
The city’s east beach will be closed during the removal of the berm for safety reasons due to the presence of large construction machinery working in that location.
