Run Seal Beach was delighted to make awards totaling almost $135,000 with nearly 50 percent going to our schools and youth.  RSB is proud to also partner with the Lions and Councilman Mike Varipapa to renovate the Marina Center.  Run Seal Beach has now given away over $1,445,510 through the grant and director’s award process.  Collaboration is a major theme with partnerships with many other organizations like the Chamber, the Seal Beach Police Foundation, the Friends of the Library, various veteran’s organizations, the City and Recreation Services, Police & Marine Safety and most importantly, the school district.

Run Board President Greg Phillips said, “we are so humbled to be part of this generous community where we have the opportunity to give so much back.”  Additionally, Seth Eaker, board secretary said, “Nearing the $1.5 million mark in the last decade has really been thrilling.  We have a whole new set of leaders ready to bring Run Seal Beach into even greater success moving forward.  I am so thankful to have had a part in the Run.”
