The city of Seal Beach has officially announced that Ruby’s will leave the Seal Beach Pier, according to a written statement issued Thursday evening, Jan. 3.
On Dec. 10, 2012, Ruby’s Diner notified the city that they are vacating the Seal Beach Pier location as of January 10, 2013.  Ruby’s has been a fixture on the Seal Beach Pier for the past 25 years, but recently decided not to extend their agreement with the city.
A search for a new restaurant is in progress, and will begin after Jan. 10.
