Former Rossmoor resident 2nd Lt. Richard Grimes, US Army, wed Karla Werckmann in a ceremony in Mesa, Ariz., on Dece.r 30, 2010. Richard graduated earlier in December from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, AZ, with a degree in aeronautical science. He is now a member of the US Army Reserve Engineering Unit 387 in Phoenix, and is completing the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Academy in Prescott, AZ, where the couple now resides. Karla is a nurse in the Prescott area. Rich grew up in Rossmoor and attended local schools, graduating from LAHS in 2006. His parents, Ray and Carol Grimes, still reside in Rossmoor.
