Registration begins for local business seminars

Seal Beach Chamber’s “EDGE” (Educate to Drive and Grow the Economy) Business Seminar Series starts Sept. 13

The Seal Beach Chamber of Commerce has six lunchtime seminars prepared to provide business tips to help local businesses prosper.

The Seal Beach Chamber (www.sealbeachchamber.org) recently announced the EDGE (Educate to Drive and Grow the Economy) Business Seminar Series from Sept. 13 through Oct. 18.  Sessions will occur at the Marina Center Community Hall on consecutive Thursdays.

On-site registration and check-in begins at 11 a.m. Sessions will run from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Once the sessions conclude, lunch and networking will continue until 1 p.m. To pre-register, contact the Seal Beach Chamber at (562) 799-0179 or via e-mail at Director@sealbeachchamber.org. Space is limited. Sessions are $15 per session for non-members and are free for Seal Beach Chamber members. Lunches are available for pre-order for $8-$10 per meal provided by local Seal Beach restaurants including The Abbey, Dogz Bar and Grill and Crèma Café.

Presenters include local business experts from Long Beach, Seal Beach and Los Alamitos. Erik Dreyer-Goldman, owner of Ask Erik Computer Services in Seal Beach and John Zahn, co-founder of Omnibeat in Los Alamitos are co-chairing the event.

The Seal Beach Chamber is offering its members the chance to showcase their business for $65. The event is free for attendees and open to the public starting at 3:30 p.m. at the Marina Center. The Expo will begin at 3:30 p.m. with a mixer from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
