The Huntington Harbour Car Club will present its 27th annual Huntington Harbour Christmas Classic Car Parade that will be held on Saturday, Dec. 6. The public is invited to enjoy the spectacle of holiday decorated classic cars. For 27 years the parade has been active in supporting the Philharmonic Society Boat Parade and the Huntington Harbour Cruise of Lights. In addition, this year, the car parade charity of choice benefits CHOC, Children’s Hospital of Orange County.
The parade will be slowly cruising all of the waterfront homes on the five islands of Huntington Harbour being led by a 100-year-old fire engine, followed by Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus riding a World War II motorcycle with Rudolph-the-Red-Nosed-Dog in the sidecar. Then followed by whimsical Christmas decorated unique cars to give joy to the children, followed by the newly installed Huntington Beach City Council and State elected dignitaries.
The 70+ car parade includes various and unique vehicles already registered, such nameplates including new and vintage Bentley, Ferrari, Rolls Royce, Maserati, a Packard Pantheon (belonged to actor Robert Taylor), Morgan, plus custom cars and Hot Hods, and various other “super cars.” Contact the club for more information at hhcarclub@yahoo.com.
