Los Alamitos and Seal Beach police described a quiet Fourth of July weekend.
Los Alamitos Police Capt. Bruce McAlpine said there were no significant incidents to report.
Seal Beach Police Sgt. Phil Gonshak, the department’s public information officer, said there were five arrests: four for fireworks violations and one for interfering with a police investigation—which concerned fireworks.
Gonshak also said there were numerous traffic citations issued.
