Pet of the Week: Opal

“Opal is our 5 year old kitty. She came to us at 5 weeks old covered with big fleas. We nursed her with special formula from a dropper. She was so tiny the whole thing fit in the palm of my hand, tail included! We already had a cat at the time-Onyx (tennis court cat) and Opal used to play by jumping on his back and then running under furniture so he couldn’t reach her. Today she’s as big as Onyx and very happy to just stay at home. She’s very sweet and loves star gazing from our patio and napping in our bed.”— Marta Veneciano
