The Mr. California Pageant along with the Miss Southern California Pageant has set the date for orientation.
The orientation will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 28, a the Ayres Hotel Bordeaux Meeting Room, 12850 Seal Beach Blvd., in Seal Beach.
The orientation will cover all details for the pageant which will be held on Sunday, May 16 at the Martha Knoebel Theatre on the campus of California State University, Long Beach.
The winners in each division will receive a crown, sash and scholarships of up to $1,000.
Runners up will also be awarded scholarships.
The after-party will be held at the Eagle’s Nest Clubhouse at the Seal Beach Navy Golf Course.
The pageant is open to young men and women ages 5 to 25. Titleholders will represent their communities and work with such causes as Special Olympics, Children’s Hospital of Orange County, Relay for Life (American Cancer Society), Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Orange County Food Bank and more.
