A rare treat is in store for the City of Los Alamitos and its environs at the St. Isidore Historical Plaza. The Mariachi Divas will be performing “Under The Stars” at the Plaza from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday evening, Aug. 23.
Since 1999, the Mariachi Divas have made big waves on the national and international music scene. Along with performing at the inauguration of Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, they have performed at Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign and at a luncheon for Governor Schwarzenegger and the President of Mexico. Last, but certainly not least, they have won the 2009 Grammy Award for Best Mexican Album and are considered a staple at Disneyland. They are especially good. A beautiful time to relax and enjoy a summer evening.
Along with the concert being held at the Plaza, dinner will be served featuring two Mexican entrees along with all the extras. Dinner and a concert at the Plaza is $50 per person. Tickets are available at the “Picnic at the Plaza” on Thursday evenings between 5:30 and 8:30 PM.
