Miss Teen Seal Beach 2013 recalls her year

This past year has been the most inspirational year of my life.  Being Miss Teen Seal Beach has motivated me in many astonishing ways.

It has taught me to be a positive, happy person.

It has shown me how to be a strong and confident young woman by attending the ribbon cutting ceremonies at the grand opening of amazing new businesses in our community as well as getting to attend city council meetings.

It has helped me realize all the benefits of putting others before yourself and helping out in any way you can.

For example, I was able to prepare meals at the Ronald McDonald house for the parents and families of children who are hospitalized.  It has been amazing having worked with strong and influential female figures in our community like Jill Ingram and Ellery Deaton.

I am so blessed to have had this opportunity, however my reign as Miss Teen Seal Beach is almost over. Everything I have gained from these experiences will last a lifetime.

I would like to give a big thank you to my sponsors Top and Lucy of Beach City Jewelers, without their support this would not have been possible.  Also, as for our amazing pageant director, Rosie Ritchie, who has been more like a mom to me than a director.

Thank you for helping me aspire and grow by teaching me to do amazing things and to be the best person I could ever be.
