The Miss Seal Beach Pageant, which will be held March 9, is currently taking applications for contestants.
The Pageant is seeking young women and girls with energetic, vibrant personalities to become role models in the community as they work to acheive their academic and personal goals.
The pageant court includes: Miss Seal Beach: Ages 17-23; Miss Teen Seal Beach–Ages 13-16; Junior Miss Seal Beach–must be in grades 4-6 and Little Miss Seal Beach–must be in grade 1-3. NOTE: Junior Miss and Little Miss is a natural pageant prohibiting enhancements that include: lashes, hair extensions, spray tans or false teeth. Light makeup is allowed.
Being a member of the court includes: More than 200 community service hours, resume writing, public speaking, one-on-one interview training, being City Manager for the day, ribbon cuttings, scholarships, Chamber mixers, St. Anne’s Thanksgiving, Dinner, National Night Out, award ceremonies, Christmas Parade, inaugurations, Ronald McDonald House, Chief of Police for the Day.
