The weekend Seal Beach Sidewalk Sale, held from Friday, Feb. 14, to Sunday, Feb. 16. Several stores apparently did well. The wares outside Endless Summer, seen above, usually drew a crowd. Liz Sontag of ellison rd. said weekend business was good.
Ron Jahnke, of Javatinis, also reported good business. The coffee shop owner attributed brisk weekend business to multiple causes: Friday was Valentine’s Day, the weekend weather was wonderful, it was Presidents Day weekend and the Sidewalk Sale all helped bring customers to Main Street.
“I also honestly believe that downtown Seal Beach is improving,” Jahnke said.
He cited Main Street improvements such as the planters and the street lights as well as the selection of shops.
“I think people are rediscovering Seal Beach,” Jahnke said.
