Seal Beach VFW Post 4048 and American Legion Post 857 will conduct their annual joint Memorial Day ceremony at Eisenhower Park just North of the Seal Beach Pier at Monday May 25.
According to Les Shobe, of the Seal Beach VFW, the program will begin at 11 a.m.
The National Anthem will be performed by members of SoundFX Los Alamitos High School National Champion Show Choir. Opening Prayer will be offered by Chaplain (Capt.) Brenda Threatt US Army National Guard. There will be remarks from Commander Erik L. Franzen Executive Officer Naval Weapon Station Seal Beach, and Congressman Dana Rohrabacher. The SoundFX Choir will perform a medley of Patriotic songs. Chaplain (Capt.) Brenda Threatt will provide a closing prayer.
