The Seal Beach Police Department is investigating a Wednesday afternoon, May 8, death on the 405 Freeway. A man fell from the Seal Beach Boulevard freeway overpass to the southbound 405 Freeway offramp. He suffered fatal injuries as a result of the fall. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A written statement issued by the police referred to the incident as an accident.
According to Sgt. Ron La Velle, witnesses said the man had been outside of the safety fence along the Seal Beach Boulevard bridge.
No motor vehicles were involved in the incident.
