Two weeks short of his 94th birthday, John Clifton passed away at his home in Leisure World, Seal Beach. His service, at All Souls Cemetery in Long Beach, was attended by family, friends, and fellow veterans. “Utah Jack’s” story appeared on the pages of the Seal Beach Sun in August of 2018. Utah Jack was a hero, who has gone unrecognized by this country and the United States Navy.
