LA Fitness in Garden Grove is 3.5 miles from Rossmoor
I’ve lived in Rossmoor for 24 years and I have been a member of LA Fitness in Garden Grove for 14 years.
One of my many concerns is safety. LA Fitness opens its doors at 4:30 a.m. and closes at 10 p.m. The Garden Grove LA Fitness has had many car break-ins over the years. I’ve talked to the manager on numerous occasions about installing cameras, but the attitude has been “park at your own risk.”
I am constantly hearing that the Rossmoor residents are “crying” about additional traffic. Seal Beach residents: please, let’s not forget that the beach was there before your homes were built. Beach traffic was a “reasonable expectation” for anyone moving into Seal Beach. In contrast, the homes in Rossmoor were built before the Target and the Rossmoor Shopping Centers were developed. This has increased the traffic dramatically! When the Rossmoor residents moved into the neighborhood, there wasn’t a “reasonable expectation” of this level of traffic. Our quality of life has changed for the worse!
If the Seal Beach residents want to work out at an LA Fitness that badly, they should join the one in Garden Grove. It is only 3-1/2 miles away.
