Bolton new GRF President
Reform slate sweeps all GRF Board offices
The organizational meeting was held for the election of GRF officers following the GRF Annual Meeting and the installation of newly elected members of the Board of Directors at 2 p.m. on Tuesday June 12.
First, Tim Bolton was elected President of the GRF Board at about 3:45 p.m., by a margin of 12 votes to 6 votes over his opponent Tom McCabe. Second, Mike Supple was elected Vice President, defeating the incumbent V.P. Clarence Fuqua by a vote of 11 to 7.
The third office elected was that of Corporate Secretary. Ronde Winkler upset the incumbent Tom Barratt, also by a vote of 11 to 7. The fourth office elected was that of GRF Treasurer. Denis Craig defeated Tom Barratt by another 11 to 7 vote by their fellow directors.
The fifth and final office was that of Assistant Secretary. Carole Damoci was elected to that position by acclamation.
Congratulations to all of the newly elected officers of the GRF Board of Directors. The audience of observing shareholders erupted into prolonged applause and cheers following the announcement of the vote for each office.

Silly question
Regarding your Poll Question: Should children who don’t live in Seal Beach be allowed to attend McGaugh Elementary School?
Silly statement.
McGaugh Elementary School belongs to the Los Alamitos Unifed School District. It does not belong solely to Seal Beach. For that reason, living in Seal Beach is not a requirement to attend McGaugh School. How would Seal Beach feel if those of us who live in Los Alamitos said that children who do not live in Los Alamitos or have a Los Alamitos mailing address cannot go to Los Alamitos High School?
