In the Blue Zone

I read with interest Mark Underwood’s article recently on OC Prime re: “Live to be 100.”

Blue Zone is surely anywhere if properly guided and adhere to the best. Leisure World centenarians are proof that Blue Zone is here. We are very proud and respect them. We have excellent role models. Surely, maintaining proper nutrition, good sleep, exercise, socializing as well as less stress on a daily basis are the keys to achieving longevity.

Happy Sails to Henry Taboada

Retiring RCSD manager Henry Taboada is to be commended for his service to the Rossmoor community and his accomplishments for the Rossmoor Community Services District.

Over the past six years that he has been the consulting General Manager, Mr. Taboada transformed the District administration from what was largely an ad hoc operation to one organized and operated on a par with any local municipality.

He has brought on competent staff who are efficient, effective and user friendly.

We have been very fortunate to have someone with his extensive experience in municipal government to carry out the needs of the District.

He will be difficult to replace.  Happy Sails, Henry.
