Regarding: ‘Creationism is a theory, not a fact’
The fact is everything written in the Bible can be proven.
Creation is what separates us from the animals, all you have to do is look down at your Belly Button, that’s what separates man from the animals. Adam and Eve don’t have a belly buttons because they were created by the hand of God, Cane and Able do have a belly button. That’s the knot that makes the difference between evolution and Creation. It’s God’s way of showing us the difference between man and the animals.
If the person who believes in creation is wrong no one will ever know.
If the persons who believe in evolution is wrong everyone will know forever and ever. Forever is a long time to be wrong.
It’s impossible for me to believe that one day a monkey gave birth and created a belly button and called him man.
Do you believe in evolution because you do not want to think something is greater and smarter than you? Don’t let your ego make a mistake.
Evolution goes nowhere. Creation takes you to the house of God. You still have time to make a Choice the most important choice of your life and Death. Will you be Right or Wrong? No one will ever know? or Everyone will know Forever?
Faith is the answer.

Golden Rain malfeasance
After residing in Leisure World for just one year and hearing about possible malfeasance on the part of the Golden Rain Foundation directors, I believe it’s time for the state’s attorney general to look into their conduct for any possible wrong-doing. Hopefully, we don’t have another Bell or Vernon on our hands.
Rumors are a dime a dozen here, but there’s always talk regarding the arrogance, secrecy and underhanded dealings of the board.
Someone commented it’s like the tail wagging the dog. Where’s there’s smoke. The air needs to be cleared and straight answers given to the shareholders.
After the recent “late taxes” fiasco we need to be particularly diligent on how our community is being run. The administrators of the GRF should be reminded that they’re working for the welfare of the shareholders. Perhaps it’s time for a change, the present administration gives the impression that they are employed here for life, it breeds arrogance.
I’m sure there are other management companies around who would jump at a chance to have an account as large as Leisure World. Who would welcome the opportunity to serve us, with honesty commitment and intelligence?

Make parking flexible
Another angle to the need for more flexibility in our city’s parking control policies involves the Los Alamitos High School Surf Team.
On behalf of the coach and parents of the students, I requested that the city ask parking control to not issue tickets until 7:45 a.m. Monday through Friday between September and June.
This would allow the Surf Team students to park their cars in the lot when they meet from from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m.
My request was denied. I then suggested a special pass could be made for these students and distributed by the District. Again, it was denied. Rules are rules. Yet the city of Seal Beach benefits from the Los Alamitos district’s property at McGaugh.
Let’s not forget that every home for sale lists how great our school district is, which helps increase property values, and keeps taxes flowing to the city.
You would think the city of Seal Beach would value the school district and could extended this small leniency for our students.
This year, the Surf Team was undefeated in the Sunset League. Too bad several of them had to pay parking tickets because parking control showed up at 7:25 a.m. when they were still getting out of the water and heading back to their cars.
