School officials received a bomb threat against Lee Elementary School on Rossmoor’s Foster Road early Tuesday afternoon, May 6.
“Today at approximately 12:30 p.m., we received a bomb threat at Lee Elementary. We safely evacuated all students to Rossmoor Elementary,” said Superintendent Sherry Kropp in an email.
She said the Orange County Sheriff’s Department Bomb Squad and the Orange County Fire Authority searched the school, but did not find anything.
“School will resume tomorrow as usual. The Lee and Rossmoor Staffs did a great job keeping students safe and calm during the evacuation process,” Kropp said.
