Larry Applegate, owner of Applegate Plumbing and a beloved community figure, has died.
He was 73.
His father started the business 58 years ago and it has remained family owned and operated.
Applegate died Monday, May 16 after a long illness. He was a life-long Seal Beach resident.
Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in his name.
A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.
