Seal Beach Junior Lifeguards were joined by about 2,000 others from around the state for competitions on Friday, July 22. They were followed by about 203 Senior Lifeguards from Seal Beach and as far away as Sydney, Australia on Saturday, July 23. Seal Beach Chief Lifeguard Joe Bailey said Seal Beach Seniro guards had a first asnd second place in the land relay and one of the city’s guards, Nicole Norris, placed first in her distance swim.
