Friends paddle out to remember Seal Beach resident Skip Cook

Skip Cook, a long time surfer and resident of Seal Beach made our coffee shop group “Goin’ with the Flo” promise we would have a Memorial Paddle Out for him. So we did that last Saturday. And what a wonderful memorial it was. The show of love for Skip touched the hearts of the family and helped them with the closure of their loss. It also helped us.
Skip had a heart of gold and deserved such a heart warming memorial. There were 175 friends from the community and 45 paddlers at the memorial. And leis and flowers galore!
Rest in peace, my friend. Your friends from Seal Beach will never forget you.
“Goin’ with the Flo” will go on but will never be the same without you. We love ya, Skippy Boy!
