Firm makes trailers for networks and movie studios
The 41st Annual Seal Beach Christmas Parade with the theme “Christmas Movies” will step off Friday, Dec. 6th at 7:00 PM. Brought to you by the Seal Beach Lions Club.
No parade would be complete without our generous sponsors.
Fresh Cut Creative is the Title sponsor for the parade this year, but they are so much more than that.
Fresh Cut Creative is not a hair salon, or a flower shop, they are a creative group of people who produce promos and trailers for the four major networks and studios. The “Fresh Cut” in their creative endeavors refers to using snippets of shows or commercials and making them into one commercial worthy promo that will capture your interest in the shows they support.
I spoke with Founder JD Currey who has over 22 years of experience in this field, and he decided to bring his talents to Seal Beach, away from the Hollywood glare.
I got to sit down with JD and two of his creative team Kyla Pryor and Madi Smith and I asked him why he loved the Christmas parade so much that he wanted to be the Title Sponsor. JD told me he grew up in Seal Beach, and one of his favorite community activities was the parade “because in Southern California, it’s a rare chance to celebrate a winter holiday “. I asked him how the Christmas parade, the Lions Club and Fresh Cut Creative intersect, he said “the events that the Lions Club put on seem to cast the widest net and the biggest umbrella for the City, this is the ultimate family event.” He went on to say “it’s a great way to represent Seal beach and it’s no surprise to me that the Lions put this on”
Fresh Cut Creative is dedicated to our small town whether its movies in the park or supporting the Police Foundation their love and appreciation for Seal Beach makes them proud to work here and even more proud to live here.
As far as their entry this year, I couldn’t get them to give me a hint but JD promised it would be a big surprise. So, Thank You Fresh Cut Creative for supporting the parade this year as our Title Sponsor and always having an original idea that makes participating in community events so much fun.
