Friday Night Lights Flag Football ended its Spring Season with “Championship Friday” on May 17 at McAuliffe Middle School.
The season started with over 200 teams & 1600 players and ended with 8 different teams being crowned “FNL CHAMPION.” It was the first time that FNL Flag Football fielded “All Girls” in all 4 divisions. A Record setting 500+ girls participated in the FNL Spring Season. The popularity of girls playing flag is all being driven by the fact that CIF has now approved Girls Flag Football as an official CIF Sport.
The league expects girls participation in Flag Football to skyrocket over the next several years. Registration for the Fall Season is currently underway.
