Inaugural Cops & Bobbers Derby

Join the  Seal Beach Police Department on  Saturday, June 11,  for  the  inaugural Cops & Bobbers Fishing Derby.

The Seal Beach Police League, the  SBPD, and Big  Fish Bait and Tackle are  teaming up  to host the  first Cops & Bobbers Fishing Derby.  Join us  on  Saturday, June 11,  from 7 to 9 a.m., on  the  Seal Beach Pier located at 900 Ocean Ave.

Kids 17  and younger can come fish  in a tournament with Seal Beach Police officers and professional staff.  Prizes will  be  given away for  the  largest fish  within that two-hour window.  Prizes will  be  awarded for  each age group:

• Kids Under 8

• Kids 8-13 years old

• Kids 14-17 years old

This event is sponsored by  the  Seal Beach Police League and Big  Fish Bait and Tackle (located at 1780 Pacific Coast Highway, Seal Beach). 

This is a free event and donations are  appreciated.  Register your child by emailing info@sealbeachpoliceleague.com, and please remember to bring your own pole and tackle box.  Big  Fish Bait and Tackle will  provide bait and a 20% discount for  the purchase of a fishing pole for  this  event.
