The Summer Enrichment Institute ends on Friday, July 24, but everything students have learned and experienced will last a lifetime.
The Los Alamitos Education Foundation is proud to have provided 64 classes this summer to students in grades K-12.
Over 500 students took one or more SEI classes and learned more about reading, writing, math, digital photography, theater, art, science, technology and much more.
Small class sizes (maximum 17 students), which are taught by credentialed teachers in two-hour blocks, provided the ideal educational environment for students to continue to learn over the summer.
LAEF also teamed up with Los Alamitos High School’s coaches and directors to offer multiple successful camps this summer.
Several camps will take place later this summer, but so far more than 1,000 students have participated in show choir, band, dance, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, track and field, baseball, basketball, swim and wrestling camps on campus at Los Alamitos High School.
