Easter Egg Hunt returns to Eisenhower Park on March 30

The Easter Bunny visited the City Council at last week’s March 11 meeting to distribute Easter eggs to the council representatives and help the Seal Beach Lions Club announce that the Easter Egg Hunt would return to Eisenhower Park at 9 a.m., Saturday, March 30.

The event is free, according to a flyer emailed to the Sun by multiple members of the Lions Club. The Easter Bunny will be at Eisenhower Park for photo ops. After Lions Club President Mary Holland, a Leisure World resident, updated the council on upcoming Lions events, John Schroeder came up and announced he had an addition to the report.

“It so happens that the Easter Bunny is going to be returning to Eisenhower Park and I happen to be the only one in the area fluent in buneeze,” Schroeder said.

“We hope that the council will help us support this fun event for the kids in Seal Beach. Oh, and she says thank you,” Schroeder said.

The audience applauded.
