The Media Department for the Seal Beach Police confirmed to the public:
“On July 20, 2015, at 11:56 am, a passerby observed a deceased person in the flood control channel south of Rancho Road and west of Bolsa Chica Road in Seal Beach. Â No further details at this point as the Orange County Coroner in en route. Â Media staging area is on the corner of Rancho Rd. and Bolsa Chica Rd., Westiminster, California. Â More information to follow shortly.”
UPDATE: The case is being elevated to a “suspicious death.” Â Our victim is an Asian male approximately 40-50 years of age.
