The body that was found in Seal Beach last week has been identified and his next of kin have been notified.
Brandon Atchley, 28, was found deceased on March 14 in the city of Seal Beach at the base of the flood control channel near the intersection of Bolsa Chica Street and Edinger Avenue. His last known address was in the city of Yorba Linda. Investigators are seeking information from anyone who may have had contact with Brandon between the dates of Feb. 11 and March 14 and anyone who may have any information pertaining to the cause of his death. Atchley was known to frequent the cities of Garden Grove and Anaheim. Atchley is described as a white, male, 28 years old, 6 feet 2 inches, 213 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes, and a goatee.
Police are not commenting on the cause of death at this time.
