• Found Person—9:11 a.m.—Warner Avenue—A person walked in with a woman who said that she was dropped off by an Uber, but can’t remember anything past 10:30 p.m. the previous evening. She thought she may have been a victim of a possible robbery.
• Transient—9:36 a.m.—Ocean Avenue—The caller stated that a transient was pushing a new walker with a rug on it toward Main Street.
• Transient—11:16 a.m.—Seal Beach Boulevard—The caller reported that a man in a brown jacket and pants, but no shoes, was talking to himself.
• Impound—2:33 p.m.—Seal Beach Boulevard—A 2014 Toyota Corolla was impounded due to registration that expired more than six months prior.
• Domestic Violence—3:45 p.m.—Harvard Lane (College Park West)—William Olsen was arrested on suspicion of violence against a significant other.
• Suspicious Persons—3:58 p.m.—Eighth Street—The caller reported that they saw two armed men in a grey vehicle put masks on while filming themselves. The caller advised that they appeared to be goofing around making a movie and had Halloween masks pulled over their heads. The gun was determined to be fake. Report taken.
• Alligator Obstruction—6:28 p.m.—Westminster Avenue—The caller reported a large plastic alligator blocking one of the lanes. It appears the alligator was able to make it to the swamps, as police were unable to locate the gator.
• Impound—6:58 p.m.—Main Street—A 1996 Honda Accord was impounded due to registration that expired more than six months prior.
• Impound—7:54 p.m.—Pacific Coast Highway—2016 Jeep Wrangler was impounded due to registration that expired more than six months prior.
• Impound—8:51 p.m.—Seal Beach Boulevard—A 2013 Mercedes-Benz was impounded due to registration that expired more than six months prior.
Monday, October 21
• Suspicious Occupied Vehicle—6:27 a.m.—Eighth Street and Ocean Avenue—The caller reported a black older BMW with two inhabitants possibly smoking marijuana. The caller thought that it could be associated with another vehicle that pulled up as the caller walked by.
• Vehicle Burglary—10:01 a.m.—Electric Avenue—The caller stated that their black 2007 Mercedes-Benz SL55 has been broken into overnight while parked in the alley. Stolen items included a safety kit, golf clubs and a tennis bag.
• Disturbing Subject—2:17 p.m.—Northwood Road—The caller stated that a man in a black jacket was loitering on the north side of the library and refused to leave.
• Reckless Driving—4:58 p.m.—Fir Avenue (College Park East)—The caller reported vehicle driving recklessly, up to 50 and 60 miles per hour in the residential area, having been diverted to the street.
• Threats—6:10 p.m.—Dogwood Avenue (College Park East)—The caller stated that she was sent text messages in which the person threatened to blow her face off. Report taken.
• Suspicious Occupants—10:03 p.m.—Edinger Avenue—The caller reported that they saw two people drinking in a tan vehicle, possibly a Tahoe or Yukon, and throwing bottles out of the car.
• Disturbing Subject—11:09 p.m.—Ocean Avenue—The caller stated that they stopped mid-run for a drink of water near the bathrooms at the base of the pier when someone yelled at them. The caller was afraid of a confrontation and thought the person might attempt to rob them, so continued running. The individual then yelled at the caller using an expletive before following the caller up to Ocean Avenue and then continuing in another direction.
• Family Disturbance—11:57 p.m.—11th Street—The caller reported that they could hear an altercation upstairs that may be getting physical, and stated that police had visited the residence often. Seal Beach officers checked the site and the individuals that lived there said that they just woke up and that there was no disturbance.
Tuesday, October 22
• Witchcraft—12:23 p.m.—Northwood Road—The caller stated that their neighbor was controlling their television, turning it on and off. Officers spoke to the individual as well as her daughter, who also acts as her caregiver. They said that they heard noises next to their residence and thought the neighbors were possibly practicing witchcraft. Officers noted that there was an adjacent laundry room which could contribute to noise.
• Suspicious Person—12:46 a.m.—College Park Drive and Yale Lane (College Park West)—The caller stated that they saw a man that was on a bike wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and carrying a backpack. Police were unable to locate the individual.
• Suspicious Vehicle—12:57 a.m.—Sixth Street—The caller reported that two people in a black sedan parked next to their Hyundai Elantra. They were double parked and the caller thought that the driver said “it’s here” when first getting to the area, which made them think it was a casing or robbery attempt in which the driver took pictures of the car, though the vehicle still looked intact. Officers spoke to the person in question, who said that he had been dropping off his friend, and when checking his phone did not find any photos of any vehicles.
• Arrest—Pacific Coast Highway—Thomas Christopher Mosnot was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct related to alcohol.

• Arrest—Seal Beach Boulevard—Michael Kornell Brown was arrested on suspicion of commercial burglary with forced entry.
• Arrest—Seal Beach Boulevard—Dartagnon Darnell Jones was arrested on suspicion of commercial burglary with forced entry.
• Arrest—Seal Beach Boulevard—Leland Lamoine Watson was arrested on suspicion of commercial burglary with forced entry.
