“Sam” Ferraro’s cookies have won her another award. Ferraro of Seal Beach is cookie baker, cook, blogger, and student at Cal State, Long Beach. Sam has done it again. She recently won a Los Angeles cookie contest and was honored in Los Angeles on Dec. 5. Her winning cookie was Cherry Pistachio Rugelach. When not baking, cooking or studying, she can be found around Seal Beach, on her bike, participating in 5Ks, Working on her food blog, www.littleferrarokitchen.com, or at home with her husband Joe and Dog Hula. “Sam” is a former receptionist for the Sun Newspaper.
