Seal Beach activist Robert Goldberg, a frequent Sun guest columnist, was named to fill the recently vacated District 2 seat on the Planning Commission at the Monday, Aug. 8 City Council meeting.
Goldberg will serve until the term ends in 2014. Goldberg, a doctor employed by Los Angeles County, is a resident of the Bridgeport neighborhood. Goldberg has served on the city’s storm drain committee and has frequently commented on budget issues before the City Council.
