Sun Region Boy Scout Troop 671 celebrated its 40th year on Sunday, Sept. 26. “We had our quarterly Court of Honor at St. Hedwig’s where rank advancements and merit badges were presented, said Mike Orland, troop leader.
More than 200 merit badges were earned by the boys at summer camp this year which was held in Lake Arrowhead.” During the past seven years, the troop has had 14 scouts earn the rank of eagle scout. The troop started with seven scouts and now has more than 50 boys.
