On Saturday, May 18, Seal Beach will host the 17th annual Be More Healthy Expo, gearing up for another year of community health promotion, coinciding with Women’s Health Month. This event, organized in collaboration between the Seal Beach Chamber of Commerce and the city of Seal Beach, promises to be a day dedicated to wellness and well-being.

The expo, located at Eisenhower Park, next to the Seal Beach Pier,  will offer a comprehensive range of health screenings, including free thyroid cancer screening, diabetes testing, and vision screening provided by Pearle Vision. Attendees can also expect a variety of other screenings aimed at promoting proactive healthcare. The Seal Beach Lions will also be on hand to distribute free readers to those in need, reflecting the community’s spirit of compassion and support.

With 40 booths planned, attendees will have access to valuable information on senior services, wellness, healthcare, and financial services. This diverse array of resources will empower attendees to make informed decisions about their health and community involvement.

Live demonstrations from esteemed fitness organizations will inspire attendees to embrace physical fitness and adopt healthier lifestyles.

The expo’s success will be made possible through the support of sponsors, with Title Sponsor OPTUM leading the way. Other sponsors include Memorial Care Millers Children’s Hospital, Pearl Vision, Republic Service, the Seal Beach Lions, and Syrentis Clinical Research. Additionally, a shuttle service will facilitate access for attendees, ensuring inclusivity and community engagement.

Under the leadership of committee chair Diana Bean, Transformational Health Coach, and co-chairs Nicole Muller, It Takes A Village Senior Service; Martha Gonzales, Memorial Care; and Maddie Merrill, Morgan Stanley, the expo promises to demonstrate the community’s unwavering commitment to health and wellness. All participating vendors will be members of the Seal Beach Chamber of Commerce.

Don’t miss out on the chance to reserve your vendor space or showcase your business through sponsorship—it’s an opportunity not to be overlooked.
